Pierre joined CMS France in 1984 and became a partner in 1993. He developed a highly regarded international tax practice, focusing on M&A transactions, corporate reorganizations and the structuring of investment funds. He joined the firm’s Executive Board in 2000 and served as its Chairman from 2004 to 2012 and again from 2016 to 2024. At international level, Pierre chaired CMS Global from 2003 to 2008 and has served as Executive Chairman since 2019. From 2004 to 2024, he was also a member of the Bureau of Institut de l’Entreprise, a respected and influential Paris-based business think tank.
