Patrick Sayer has served as President of the Paris Commercial Court since 18 January 2024, following ten years as a judge. He has also been President of the Association Paris Place de Droit since March 2025. A founding member of the legal think tank Club des Juristes, he previously chaired the Monetary and Financial Law Chamber. Before his judicial career, he spent nearly forty years in senior leadership roles in finance. After two decades at Lazard, he became CEO of Eurazeo in 2002, overseeing its growth from €3 billion to more than €20 billion in assets. He founded his family office, Augusta, in 2018, and currently serves as a director of Valeo SE.
