David advises companies, boards of directors, investors and private equity funds on corporate governance, cross-border transactions and foreign direct investment (FDI) control. His corporate governance practice encompasses board organisation and decision-making, shareholder relations, transformative transactions, and the prevention and resolution of governance disputes. He also advises on international M&A transactions, joint ventures, strategic alliances and sensitive divestments, with particular emphasis on legal, regulatory and reputational risk.

At ESCP Business School, David serves as Faculty Chair of the Law & Finance programme, which offers students a distinctive combination of legal and financial education. He also designs and develops executive education programmes in collaboration with fellow faculty members and senior executives from leading European companies, with a particular focus on the intersection of law, business and strategic decision-making
